Superior new construction windows and patio doors with integral nail fin for installation ease
Superior engineers and manufactures both vinyl and aluminum frame windows and patio doors for installation ease in new framing construction. The nail fin is set back 1” from the exterior frame face to accept the most common stucco and siding application practices used in our Southwest markets. All Superior new construction products are called out by the rough opening dimension, and are automatically fabricated to yield a net finished size frame that is ½” under in both width and height. For example, if your rough opening measures 48” wide by 60” high, we fabricate your window at net dimension 47-1/2” wide by 59-1/2” high. Installation practice is to center the new window in its framed opening for even reveal on all four sides, with attachment to framing via the integral nail fin with pre-punched fastener holes to target precise fastener placement.
